Discover the herbs of the Allgäu
Herb hike
Our herb walks take place on the following dates, weather permitting:
- 11.05.2023 16.30 – 18.30 h
- 22.06.2023 16.30 – 18.30 h
- 20.07.2023 16.30 – 18.30 h
- 03.08.2023 16.30 – 18.30 h
Come along on a joint herb hike with the herb “witch” Tanja. We meet in front of the Allgäu Genusshotel in Urlau. From there we will walk on field paths along beautiful Allgäu meadows and meadows. You can expect detailed explanations about herbs in the medical field, as well as their use in the kitchen and small tastings.
Duration: 1.5-2 hours
Distance: approx. 2km
Minimum participants: 4 people (max. 15 people)
Per person: 15 Euro

On to the Black Ridge
Sunrise tour
We take you on an easy to medium-difficulty sunrise tour on the Black Ridge. Once at the top, a sunrise awaits you that will awaken feelings of happiness in you!
The way back takes us past the Alpe Wenger Egg, along the Rotbach stream and back to the parking lot.
Distance: approx. 7 km | Duration: approx. 2.5 hours.
Lowest point: 879 m above sea level. | Highest point: 1,049 m above sea level.
Minimum number: 4 persons
Per person: 20 Euro
We want to be flexible to the weather, which is why the dates are announced spontaneously. As soon as dates are available, you can register for a sunrise tour directly at reception.
Our meeting point is the hiking parking lot “Schwarzer Grat” in Eschachthal. Payment is made directly to Tanja Sonntag in cash. For groups of 6 people or more, we also offer the option of requesting an individual date.
