Cycling

The Allgäu gourmet manufactory
18 artisans and craftspeople such as brewers, coffee roasters, “gin” distillers, potters, goldsmiths, weavers and oil millers present their traditional craftsmanship on over 1000 m² of production, sales and exhibition space in the historic brewery building. Not only can you purchase products from various traditional trades, but with a bit of luck you can also watch them being made. The historic brick building has been sensitively restored and exudes a genuine manufactory character.
Center Parcs Allgäu
Experience a pure vacation at Center Parcs Allgäu, 2 km from the Genusshotel. Among other things, a large fun pool with water slides, a high ropes course, bowling, carriage rides and fun bikes await you here. You can also unwind and leave everyday life behind in the 2500 m² Deep Nature Spa. Numerous saunas, experience showers, steam baths, lagoon whirlpool and more promise peace and relaxation. The wonderful wellness spa area can be booked at the reception of the Allgäuer Genusshotel at discounted rates.
Ravensburger Spieleland on Lake Constance
Ravensburger Spieleland on Lake Constance, around 50 km away, is the perfect destination for an adventurous family vacation. Here, young and old can experience unforgettable moments with over 70 attractions in eight themed worlds: From the observation tower to the drop tower, from surfing to pony riding and from the Alpine gorge to the climbing wall, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone!
Bed + Bike
You are very welcome to bring your bike to the Allgäu Genusshotel! For the perfect tour, we will be happy to advise you on exciting bike tours nearby and prepare packed lunches to suit your taste. You will find an e-bike charging station right next door in front of our Historischer Dorfgasthof Hirsch.

Enjoy the Allgäu with UNIMOGS
With us you have the opportunity to visit interesting places of enjoyment in 10 different historic UNIMOGS and enjoy the day with friends.
We put together the UNIMOG tours individually for you. We load the UNIMOGS with beer, cheese, sausage and bread. The drivers of the UNIMOGS head for cheese dairies, breweries, beer gardens, alpine pastures and other highlights. A three-hour trip costs your group 350 euros without food. Depending on which UNIMOG model you choose, there is room for 5 passengers.

State Garden Show in Wangen
From April 26 to October 6, 2024, Wangen will host the longest summer festival in the Allgäu: the State Garden Show. During this period, over 2,000 events are on the program, such as live concerts, varied sports activities, exciting readings and interesting lectures on the subject of gardens. In addition, lovingly designed parks and a unique splendor of flowers await you. Fun and games are also provided for younger visitors: new children’s playgrounds and a play and sports park guarantee plenty of entertainment.

Enjoyable Christmas time
Snowflakes, colorful lights and a hot punch or mulled wine are simply part of the Allgäu winter wonderland. You should therefore not miss out on a visit to one of the numerous Christmas markets in our region during the Advent season.
From 02.12. – 04.12.2022, the annual Urlau village Christmas takes place right on the doorstep of the Allgäu Genusshotel. Here you can enjoy a unique Christmas ambience with all kinds of homemade delicacies in and around the historic Hirsch village inn – from lovingly made arts and crafts to great treats from the kitchen and cellar!
At the Christmas market in nearby Leutkirch, you can look forward to an Advent village of huts in the historic old town. Here you can enjoy music and singing, exciting fairy tales and lots of Christmas treats.
