Events & happenings in the Allgäu village of pleasure
We are delighted to present our program for the Allgäu Village of Delights. We have taken the well-known saying “The Allgäu is a village” as an opportunity to create the “Allgäu Village of Delights” brand. For us, the Genussdorf is the umbrella term for all the many great places where interested people from near and far can experience pleasure – for example in Urlau, in Friesenhofen, in Schmidsfelden, in Herlazhofen and in many other villages. The Allgäu Pleasure Village is not a single place, it is the region in which we live and work – in and around Leutkirch.
With our gourmet program, we cordially invite you to get to know the Allgäu gourmet village. Whether it’s the Allgäu Gourmet Market in the historic Hirsch village inn, a guided tour of the Urlauer Genussbrauerei brewery or a guided tour of the Allgäu Gourmet Manufactory followed by a visit to the Heimat & Genuss village store – let yourself be inspired and carried away by the motto: “Enjoying pleasure together”!

They both love their role as hosts. Lina, the new hotel director at the Allgäuer Genusshotel and Christian, whose Genussmanufaktur initiative started the development of the Allgäuer Genussdorf in 2017… Both are weaving the Genuss network around the historic Hirsch village inn and the Allgäuer Genusshotel. And both extend a warm welcome to all guests in Urlau!
