Around the Urlau pond
(Directly from the hotel)
A leisurely walk for the whole family. This flat circular trail (approx. 4 km) takes you once around the idyllic pond. It is easy to walk even in light snow and perfect for getting some fresh air after breakfast.

On the Black Ridge
(Short journey)
The highest point in the Württemberg Allgäu (1,118 m) offers a magnificent view as far as the Swiss and Austrian Alps, even in winter. The ascent is moderately steep and rewards you with an unforgettable panorama on a clear day.

Premium winter hiking trail near Oberstaufen
(Approx. 30 min drive)
The region around Oberstaufen is known for its excellently groomed winter hiking trails. Enjoy a tour on cleared paths, e.g. on the Hündle or over the Kapf, with reliable paths, great views and cozy places to stop for refreshments.

The Allmishofer Heights
(Start in Leutkirch)
This loop offers wonderful views over the foothills of the Alps. As the paths are often sunny, they are also ideal for walking in the fall and on winter days with little snow and offer wonderful light therapy.
