Your area of responsibility:
- Management of the reception desk during your shift: Responsibility for the smooth running of all reception activities and ensuring first-class guest service.
- Employee management and coordination: Management and motivation of the reception team during the shift, including the allocation of tasks and monitoring of work processes.
- Check-in and check-out: Efficient and friendly handling of arrivals and departures, including processing of bookings, room allocations and preparation of guest invoices.
- Guest care and complaint management: Competent and friendly care of our guests, answering inquiries and dealing with complaints competently.
- Cash management and accounting: Responsibility for cash management during the shift and carrying out the daily accounts.
- Reservation management: Accepting and processing reservations, maintaining the reservation system and ensuring optimal room utilization.
- Communication with other departments: Work closely with housekeeping, restaurant and other departments to ensure seamless service to guests.
- Induction of new employees: Support in the induction and training of new receptionists to ensure a high quality of service.
- Monitoring safety standards: Compliance with and monitoring of safety regulations as well as proactive measures to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
This is you:
- Experienced manager: You already have experience in the hotel industry, ideally at reception, and have some management experience.
- Organizational talent: You keep an overview even in stressful situations and can coordinate your team effectively.
- Strong communicator and service-oriented: You are communicative, friendly and have a keen sense for the needs of our guests.
- Responsible: You like to take on responsibility and ensure that the processes at reception run smoothly.
- Reliable and team-oriented: You are a reliable team player who is motivated and committed to working both independently and as part of a team.
- Technically adept: You have a good knowledge of common hotel software solutions and are confident with MS Office.
