Movement - get the ball rolling:

This short lecture discusses whether and to what extent there is a lack of exercise in today’s society. It goes on to explain what exactly triggers exercise in the body and what consequences a lack of exercise has on us. It is often known that a lack of exercise has negative consequences. However, very few people know exactly what happens in the body as a result of a lack of exercise. If this knowledge is available, the result is not just a small injection of motivation to move more, but an intrinsic drive to move more.

How much exercise makes sense and how this can be easily integrated into everyday life are further points that will be covered in the lecture.

Nutrition - You are what you eat:

The “healthy” diet has become a very inflationary topic these days. There are numerous diets that supposedly make the body fitter and are perfect for the human body.

The lecture itself is not intended to present a nutritional variant, but to go back to the basics or the basic building blocks of nutritional science. This is because the topic of nutrition is currently being made far too complicated, although it really isn’t complicated if the basics are known.

Simple, effective and target-oriented. That is the motto of this lecture. If you have the basic building blocks in place, you are already doing 80-90 percent right and putting your diet on a healthier path. After all, what’s the point of explaining what exactly happens if you don’t eat any carbohydrates or little fat, but you don’t know how the human body’s digestive system actually works? And from this it is easy to deduce which substances the body needs to stay healthy and fit.

Regeneration / rest - strength lies in rest:

Working hard or doing sport stimulates the mind and body. What is often forgotten, however, is to pay attention to rest and the necessary regeneration. This is because the body only adapts during the regeneration phase. This means that what has been newly learned is stored or the muscle grows. Internalizing this is beneficial, because if you pay attention to your rest and regeneration time, you will become physically and mentally more efficient.

In the lecture, you will learn how rest phases and regeneration times can also be promoted and optimized.
